Company policy for electronical business - credit cards

This dissertation work deals with the subject of a company in the area of e-commerce, which represents short-term or long-term plans in controlling the financial relationship toward the outer environment but also inside the company. The problem of possible abuse of credit cards is briefly analysed as well. The impulse for choosing this topic was increasing number of falsification and abusing of credit cards. When this subject is analysed in detail, the problem connected with lack of information on this particular area of crime inevitably appears. Clients of individual banking institutions often do not have even the basic knowledge about the ways their cards could be abused or misused. This is why the question of certain, at least minimal, basic information campaign done by the banks, which are supposed to protect the financial means of their clients. This dissertation work sets its goal in creating the methods of investigation of credit cards abuse not only in the Czech Republic but in the growing system of countries of Schengen Treaty and European Union. The benefit of the work can be seen in the level of theory as well of practice. The theoretical part of the work contains the analysis of the current situation of scientific knowledge in the area of information and communication technology of companies, which is implemented into information systems. Then the advantages and disadvantages connected with this kind of e-commerce are assessed and the specific opportunities for abuse of these media of payment are characterised. The problem sees mainly in writing a specialised publication, which would deal with the problem of abuse and falsification of credit cards and its possible use would be at police academies. Its main part should be the characteristics of particular forms of cards forging and also possible identification of these forgeries. This book could also help in prevention and inform clients of financial institutions about the ways of credit cards abuse. In the practical part, which concentrates on the Czech and foreign market, the author sets the basic premises for realisation of safe business of companies in the Czech Republic and its procedures. Furthermore the reasons of e-commerce abuse in the Czech Republic are analysed and results of quantification research presented. This was concentrated on ascertainment of reason of low interest in information among the public. In the conclusive part of the work the whole problem is summarised and there are also outlined perspectives and possibilities of further development

85 Consumer creditworthiness assessment Abstract This thesis deals with the pre-contractual obligation of consumer credit providers to assess the consumer's creditworthiness. The concept of creditworthiness is thoroughly and critically analyzed in four chapters focusing on assessing creditworthiness for consumer credit other than for housing purposes. The main objective of the thesis is supplemented by sub- questions set out in the introduction. These sub-questions reflect contentious issues arising from the case law of the ordinary courts, the European Court of Justice, and the Financial Arbitrator. An essential part of the thesis is therefore an extensive case law analysis, which helps to interpret many vague legal terms in national and European legislation. The thesis seeks to find solutions to interpretative ambiguities related to the topic. The opening chapter defines the concept and main purpose of implementing a creditworthiness institution. It also outlines the limits of the temporary restriction on the consumer's life (social conditions) when concluding a credit agreement. Consumer loan Abstract This diploma thesis deals with the topic of consumer loans, specifically with the regulation of contracts in which a consumer loan is arranged, contained in the Consumer Credit Act, with aim to provide analysis of such regulation, identify its deficiencies and provide suggestions for eliminating these deficiencies. The first chapter deals with basic terms, the definition of which is necessary for further dealing with the issue of consumer loans. The chapter therefore contains definitions of terms credit, consumer, and consumer loan. Following the definition of these terms, this chapter also deals with credit contract, loan contract, consumer protection and P2P consumer loans. The second chapter deals with the special legal regulation of consumer loans represented by the CCD Directive, the MCD Directive and the Consumer Credit Act which transposes the said Directives. There is also mentioned the now repealed Directive 87/102/EEC and Act No. 321/2001 Coll., which transposed said Directive. The third chapter, together with the fourth chapter, represents the core of the whole thesis, when the third chapter contains an analysis of the regulation of the loan credit agreement. In order to evaluate the creditworthiness of the company not only outstanding financial and economic knowledge will be needed but also inter-personal skills, common sense and good judgment of human nature. As the issue of finding employees with all the above mentioned qualification will occur for commercial banks the main proposition will be either hiring an expert in psychology or providing systematic psychological training for the credit experts. The idea is not currently used in the vast majority of banks and the appropriate training would be of a high value for credit specialists for their self-development. The quality of the credit specialists will trigger higher standards of credit granting. All these efforts will be become a milestone for a more reliable banking system and trustworthy financial transactions.
Analysis of credit process

The bachelor thesis is focuses on credit area and describes individual steps of credit process, through analysis of creditworthiness of customer, until possible solutions to problem loans. At first thesis describes basic characteristics, systematization of credits and risks related to credits. Second part of thesis analyzes each step of credit process. At the end thesis is focused on negative development of loans. It describes basic ways of solutions these loans and simultaneously there is shown currently czech banking market situation of default loans and specific approach of particular bank Česká spořitelna, a.s., which is illustrated on data from financial statements.
